At this year's edition of Folk och Kultur, Sweden's largest cultural policy convention, Jan Wejdmark, initiator of Arctic Highways and chairman of the board of Mötesplats Granö, took part in a discussion on sponsorship and patronage. Together with Kirsti Mathiesen Hjemdahl from Cultiva in Norway and Dina Vester Feilberg, art director at the Bikuben Foundation in Denmark. Jan talks about Mötesplats Granö and gives his view on culture as infrastructure and the importance of seeing investments in culture in a long-term perspective as an important part of community building. He also talks about the art exhibition Arctic Highways as a way to connect areas across national borders. The conversation is about 15 minutes long and will be shown in full. Madeleine Zanotto from Folk och Kultur will lead the discussion.
