She is from a reindeer-herding family in Kautokeino, Northern Norway, and currently works in her hometown. Sara\u2019s work deals with the political and social issues affecting the S\u00e1mi communities in \u00adgeneral, and the reindeer-herding \u00adcommunities in particular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sara has created posters, CD and LP covers, visual scenography and fabric prints for a number of S\u00e1mi artists, designers and institutions. She is the initiator and founding member of <strong>D\u00e1iddad\u00e1llu Artist Collective<\/strong> Kautokeino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2014, Sara was nominated for the Nordic Council\u2019s Children and Young People\u2019s Literature Prize for her debut book <em>Ilmmid gaskkas<\/em> (<em>Between worlds<\/em>). Sara's project <em>Pile o\u2019 S\u00e1pmi<\/em> was presented at Documenta 14 in Kassel in 2017.
