He has a background in S\u00e1mi reindeer herding culture. He holds an MA in contemporary art from Troms\u00f8 Academy of Contemporary Art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aikio\u2019s art has been exhibited in various countries in Europe, Asia &amp; Latin America. He works with mixed media, photography, sound, installations, video, sculpture and text.
