After more than 30 years as an artist, Lisa Nilsson has a solid repertoire to draw from.
The mood of the day sets the agenda when choosing the song list, and no two evenings are the same. This results in a mix of all-time hits, personal favourites from the Swedish or Brazilian songbook, and the odd stirring evergreen, interspersed with Lisa's now-famous interludes and monologues.
Both Lisa and Mattias possess a timeless breadth and share a love for soul music, Brazilian rhythms, and jazz. The duo has co-written several of Lisa's songs, and storytelling and joy in playing are always at the centre when they perform together.
The last time they stood on stage together, they performed Lisa Nilsson's own show ”The Woman That Is I,” where Lisa summarises her career and her life as a woman in a humorous cavalcade of music, tap dancing, and monologues.
The duo have recorded albums and toured together in numerous contexts with Lisa's band, and various Big Bands and orchestras since 1992.
